The Challenge
For this preschool project, the client came to us with a strong need to align the interior concept with the nature of early childhood education, fun, safe, and inspiring. They wanted a space that would reflect the energy and creativity of a preschool environment while still feeling cohesive and modern.
One of the key requirements was to maintain visual consistency with their HQ by using the same color scheme. They also emphasized the need for a fully designed space, where every corner contributes to a conducive learning atmosphere.
Most importantly, the client wanted to avoid any dark or dull zones, knowing that low lighting and overly muted tones could negatively affect the children’s mood and focus.
Our Solution
In response, we developed a modern interior look, while infusing playfulness through the use of shapes and color-blocking techniques using paint. This allowed us to introduce creativity without overwhelming the space.
We strictly followed the brand’s color guideline from the HQ, ensuring consistency across locations while adapting it in a way that felt suitable for young learners. Every area, including classrooms, hallways, and utility corners was carefully designed to serve both aesthetic and functional purposes.
To ensure the environment stayed bright and energetic, we enhanced the lighting setup with a combination of ambient light, strategic spotlights, and custom L-box ceiling features. This provided sufficient illumination for daily learning activities while creating a cheerful and inviting mood throughout the preschool.
