The Challenge
The client came to us feeling uninspired by their current home layout and design. After living in the same setup for years, the space felt outdated and no longer suited their lifestyle. They wanted a fresh perspective and a smarter use of space, especially in key areas like the kitchen, living, and dining.
One of their biggest concerns was the lack of spatial separation, cooking smells from the kitchen would easily drift into the living room, which disrupted comfort and cleanliness.
On top of that, they were facing storage limitations in the living area, which made the space feel cluttered and less functional. The goal was to relayout the space for better flow, updated aesthetics, and practical upgrades without sacrificing the openness they still appreciated.
Our Solution
In response, we proposed a modern contemporary concept, clean, timeless, and suited to their taste. Instead of drastically changing the structure, we focused on improving functionality through thoughtful spatial planning. We maintained the size and position of the existing living area to preserve familiarity, but reconfigured surrounding zones to create better transitions.
A key move was introducing a partition between the kitchen and dining space, subtly defining the areas while helping to contain cooking aromas. To address the storage issue, we designed and installed tall units in the living area, offering ample space for organization without compromising visual appeal.
The end result was a refreshed, elegant home that feels both modern and livable, with smarter zones that meet the client’s daily needs.
