The Challenge
For this project, the client came with a clear focus: to keep the design minimal and budget-friendly while still achieving a clean, cohesive interior that serves its purpose effectively.
The goal was to create a classroom-style setup that could accommodate at least 30 people seated, without compromising comfort or circulation space. One of the main challenges was to ensure that the seating arrangement would not obstruct any walkways or cause congestion, especially when the space is at full capacity.
Additionally, the color scheme needed to align with the existing branding and visual identity of BYOND’s other interior class spaces.
Our Solution
To meet these goals, we emphasized simplicity in design by relying more on paintwork and wall features rather than expensive furniture or structural changes.
We introduced subtle color blocking and accent walls using BYOND’s approved brand palette to maintain visual harmony across different branches. Instead of over-furnishing the space, we focused on optimal furniture placement, positioning tables and chairs in linear rows on both the left and right sides, ensuring the center walkway remained wide and uninterrupted. In the end, we were able to fit 36 seats comfortably without compromising flow or functionality.
The result is a well-balanced, minimal yet purposeful space that aligns with the brand’s identity and maximizes usability within a practical budget.
