The Challenge
The client approached us with a unique requirement: to merge two distinct functions, an office and a mini boutique, into a single, cohesive space. The challenge was that the area was completely open, with no partitions or spatial divisions, making it feel too empty and undefined. They needed a solution that would not only clearly separate both functions but also reflect the brand’s identity.
On top of that, the design needed to follow a specific color guideline to remain consistent with their existing outlets. One more request stood out, the client wanted to avoid a typical, boxy layout. They were drawn to more organic, fluid visuals and didn’t want the space to feel rigid or overly linear.
Our Solution
To meet this brief, we started by creating a clear spatial separation, positioning the boutique closer to the entrance to ensure visibility and accessibility for customers, while tucking the office area further inside for more privacy. Custom partitions were introduced to subtly divide the space without making it feel confined, each zone was defined yet still connected visually.
We followed the brand’s color guidelines but interpreted them in softer tones to maintain a calming, welcoming atmosphere throughout. To break away from harsh lines, we introduced curved elements in the form of custom-built furniture, lighting features, and even wall detailing.
The result is a balanced, stylish space that blends retail and workspace seamlessly while maintaining a strong brand presence and a fluid, modern aesthetic.
