Modern Contemporary

Megaklinik Dr Suffian | Clinic
Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur

The Challenge

The clinic initially lacked a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, making it feel too clinical and impersonal for patients, especially for families and children.
One of the major concerns from the client was the disorganized flow, as patients had to register and collect medication at the same counter, which created confusion and congestion. The existing kids’ area also felt cramped and disconnected, not providing enough space or comfort for young visitors.
Additionally, the client wanted the clinic to have a signature look, something unique and memorable that would set it apart from typical healthcare interiors.

Our Solution

To address these issues, we introduced a modern contemporary design concept, using soft earth tone colours to create a soothing and approachable environment while still maintaining professionalism.
We restructured the layout to clearly separate the registration counter and the dispensary, streamlining the patient flow and enhancing efficiency. To improve the children’s experience, we converted the kids’ area into an open-concept zone, more spacious, more visible, and much more engaging.
For a distinctive design element, we incorporated curved window and door frames throughout the clinic, adding softness and character to the space. This curvy visual language not only breaks away from the rigid feel of most medical settings but also creates a unique signature look that subtly blends function with design.
The final result is a warm, organized, and standout clinic environment that improves both user experience and brand identity.
