The Challenge
The client had recently purchased a pre-owned home that, while structurally sound, felt slightly worn and outdated. It needed a fresh new look to reflect their personal style and modern lifestyle.
One of the client’s main design preferences was the incorporation of wooden elements to create a warm and grounded ambiance. However, they also wanted the home to maintain a modern and stylish edge, which required a thoughtful balance between natural textures and contemporary design.
Another important request was to retain the current layout entirely, no structural changes, just a design overhaul. On top of that, the client needed a dedicated space for family entertainment and bonding, especially on the upper floor where they envisioned a cozy family zone.
Our Solution
To revitalise the space, we introduced a modern contemporary concept, a design direction that allows for the seamless integration of wooden finishes while maintaining a clean, elegant, and timeless look.
Respecting the client’s wish to preserve the original floor plan, we developed a fully customised 3D design based on the existing layout. This allowed us to enhance the visual and functional aspects of the home without the need for structural changes.
Wood accents were introduced through key furniture, wall finishes, and details to add natural warmth and texture, while modern lighting, neutral tones, and sleek surfaces ensured a contemporary feel throughout the home.
To meet the need for a shared family area, we transformed the upper floor into a dedicated family zone, a comfortable, multifunctional space designed for relaxation, entertainment, and togetherness.
The result is a beautifully upgraded home that feels brand new while staying true to its original form, warm, stylish, and ready for new memories.
